shadoh
What makes a person wake up one day and say to themselves, hey, you know what would look good as a necklace? Not 1, but 2 bettas encased in a acrylic case! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eQSWXvx4EQM&feature=channel

Fletch
Put yourself in place of fish. Batch testing introduced. " Do I want to be exported to Australia, or worn as necklace?" What would you do?
Sarah
That is just terrible! It is disgusting and cruel.. I can't believe it! I'm just.. well, I'm speechless..
Yanagi
" Do I want to be exported to Australia, or worn as necklace?" Based on the knowledge and disregard for basic needs displayed by the necklace owner/maker.. I'll take my 99% chance with the blender.
shadoh
Let's see... a long lingering death trapped in a tiny death chamber with another male betta, or a quick whirl of the "blender". I know which one I'd be choosing.
paul
I'm sure the designer just intended that this overwhelmingly expensive piece of hand crafted jewellery is intended just as a carry bag for the trip back local from the fish shop! Fair enough it's an oversight to put two male splendens together, but, remember, the designer has shown "amazing creativity and sensitivity to the enviroment we live in" (I think that was the quote). That is: it's all shiny and sparkle-y and you don't need to burn fossil fuel to heat the tank, it's heated by human power - the next big thing in sustainable energy sources.. or maybe I'm thinking of "the Matrix"???!!! Sarah
Is there air for them to breathe?
volvodriver
At one stage you can see that the left one goes up for air, seemed to be only a tiny bit and i can't imagine it would be oxygen considering it would have to be a sealed container. shadoh
Looks like there is a tiny amount of air in there. Just thought, they would probably have to fast them for a couple of days before they seal them up to reduce the amount of waste produced in the short time they have left. Bettarazzi
What about the poor little penguins? They don't look like they can move at all. Don't worry Sheila Dikshit will sort it out.

Chuckie
The fish wouldn't last til you got them home from the shop. Newsflash, labyrinth fish kind of like atmospheric oxygen. I don't expect that this will be a best seller. I can't imagine people lining up to wear soggy plastic bags of dead fish.

sunnylass
Don't bet on it, there are some incredibly ignorant people in this world, and obviously the indian people think its a novel idea, and they don't give a rats about the fish!
