AusAqua Team Announcement

Recommended Posts

administrators own and run and administer the board (including the 'back room' stuff like how the forum looks, what features to add, etc). Moderators can edit posts, move threads etc on the board 'as is', but they don't have to bother with the back room stuff.

The AusAqua Team monitors the whole board. If anyone feels the need to notify us of a particular post clicking the report button at the bottom of the post in question will bring it to our immediate attention. Thankfully the members of this board don't normally make such posts so we spend our time doing things like fixing broken links and generally keeping the board tidy :welcome:

Alternatively people can try to stay on topic, heheh.

We mean to stay on topic, it's just that sometimes someone (usually me) will ask a question or make a passing remark which people respond to and then the whole thing starts to head off in a completely different direction. And then someone else will bring it back on topic and now you've got an interesting yet unrelated string of responses in the middle of a thread.

This thread for instance, is it going to stay related to Phil's appointment and clarification of his role? Or is it going to turn into an unrelated discussion about forum etiquette?

Ah, people are always going to ramble on about this or that, I'm pretty well known for it *puffs up chest* ;)

We know you all do your best and we know conversations are fluid and will morph over time :welcome: We'll just go in and pick them out (if its fish related, mostly other stuff isn't that important as it'd be unlikely anyone would try to search it)

No biggie :)

And yay Phil!

For all intents and purposes, Phil is just another one of the go-to guys for all your forummy needs. The thing that he can't do is fix website problems, or change the bones of the website, but it'd be unlikely that anyone would need anything done in that respect anyway... or that we'd do it :) Though, a nice V8 Racing theme'd be pretty sweet around here...

Anyway, yay Phil! :welcome:
