the orange/black (please tell me what he is!) PK is Mustard, and the silver/platinum is Fairy, by the way, fairy doesn't look like your average betta so i was thinking he was a hybrid of something, any ideas? he's a delta with a fair bit of chewing damage but he's a sweet little critter :dontknow:

and this is another from a few weeks ago now, name is Dale - my lovely orange boy

and no i still haven't got pics of the copper pair off aquabid, but they'll be here sooner or later 0 and yes they escaped the thursday night trauma due to being conditioned for spawning in the bathroom :D lucky devils

you silly :D

Like the loks of ur new friends :D and glad that at least a few of them made it without incident :)

and Bettarazzi, I don't think the same supplier/person would sell to LFS's in 2 diff states, especially considering customs in and out of WA, but could b a possibility :D

these boys were from a place called PetMagic in Cannington. they had heaps of bettas all over the place, biggest shop ever *proceeds to drool just from remembering it* i spent hours in there *swoon* - i'm really loving Jelly, he has such a little ripper attitude, he gets along just fine from day to day but as soon as you pop up with some munchied for him he's practically jumping out of his tank to get some, hehe. lucky he has a lid huh? :D

I was thinking that the same fish farm in Thailand or wherever these came from might be supplying everyone. Or do you think these are probably locally bred? I've very curious about how it all works.

Thats right. And I kno places in Melbourne can go to Aquarium Industries and hand pick the fish themselves.

*sigh* Adelaide just gets what it is given. Except one shop I know of near Robbie, who gets in some pretty flash Bettas.

phil, that's the one they were with originally, but after they got a batch of fish infected with columnaris they swapped suppliers :) not good to have 30 or so fish drop dead within a day of getting them, and all your other bettas getting infected too!

yeah we don't get flash bettas :D wish we did, then It'd b so much more difficult going to LFS's cause of all the temptation. As it is I was bringing home a betta a week for the first cple of months when I started the "hobby" :D

Jess which LFS u talking about? If it's Fish Palais have u been there recently? I sold them the rest of my Royal Blues(melano x pastel) bout a month ago, wanted to go in there the other day to see if they're still there :D
