Phil
Hi Everyone, I recently got 4 males. They are such a beautiful tone of yellow. They swim around flaring at each other, i like them because they are different. Has anyone else got panchax? i didnt realise there were so many. I think we have 3 types at work, Gold, Gold wonder and these really cute dwarf ones Cheers Phil
Beano
I've got one that I'm giving to Dreamer. I don't know what kind he is, I just used to call him a yellow panchax - he's yellow (duhh) with the nice fluro yellow iridescence and red fringing on the tail edges. Callatya
Pretty colour! Are they shorter than your average panchax or is that the camera angle?
Phil
Its just the angle. Not the ideal photo but the one that showed the colour the best. Havent noticed any red fringing though.

Beano
Are they full size yet - mine didn't get the red fringing immediately, I had him for a few months first.

KillieOrCory
How are you going with them? Beautiful fish, The name is Aplocheilus lineatus Gold It is the gold mutation of this particular species There is also Aplocheilus dayi Rainbow panchax and Aplocheilus panchax Blue panchax from available time to time. the dwarf panchax Aplocheilus parvus/blockii is less common Love the Asian killifish! Who am I kidding love all killifish :cheer:
Phil
Hi Serkan, I ended up giving them away becasue they didnt suit the sort of tank i wanted. Im pretty sure they are still going well with their new owner. Ive also seen around another panchax with black spots all over it, which was quite interesting.
