Mango4Jade
My friend Yeevia allowed me to post his photos of his pond. Check these out! Mostly are Dong2002's Blood Reds and some Marbles. Hehe...Mango :P

Chuckie
Does he have much trouble with the bettas jumping out, Mango? Or are the ponds covered when they're not being photographed?
stubbskm
We did the same thing but with goldfish! Anything smaller and the Kingfishers and Kookaburras would have taken, if not covered. There was a bet going to see how long they would last between the birds and cats. They found a new pond when we started into Bettas. Was thinking of doing it again with Aiden's guppies and a strong cover.
Mango4Jade
Its actually fully covered, but when taking pics he takes looks of the plants out. And he said the pond is big so they dont feel jumpy Im thinking of doing similar but with birdnets.
Berryfriendly
Not that is very cool !! I like it. Tell me Mango, does your friend have many problems with the fish getting aggresive towards each other or is it a non event because of the size of the pond? Also How long does it take them to clean it and how often?
splendidbetta
I saw pics of that pond on Bettas4all.nl. It's great and I like it :)
Robbies Betta
Cheers for that Mango, it's exactly what I've been looking for. My betta ponds might not be to far off now http://ausaqua.net/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cool.gif http://ausaqua.net/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif
Mango4Jade
The bettas hardly get agressive due to the fact of the hiding spaced of the plants provided, but if one gets aggressive (99% Chance its a male) then Yeevia jars then up. IMHO, I would think most of them are females. I know he puts his males in beenie boxes. http://ausaqua.net/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cool.gif
Jess
I have to comment on the betta being spoon fed http://ausaqua.net/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cool.gif with that many bettas I would use my hands to scatter the pellets!! Robbies Betta
That is one thing that gets up my "craw" about the asian breeders, they don't need heaters http://ausaqua.net/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif life would be soo much easier without the worry of heaters and needing to keep tanks covered for humidity (damn winter spawnings http://ausaqua.net/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cool.gif )
Mango4Jade
Well, Yeevia is asian But he uses 300watt heaters >.<
Figure_8
I think its the climate difference that gets up robbies nose Oh for a climate that wouldn't kill fish if left to its own devices!
Robbies Betta
exactly Mousie although, I dont resent the fact that we have far less mozzies and flies here (but then again, mozzies = wrigglers right? )
mat92
=O i did EXACTLY the same thing when i was a bit younger... the exact same plastic shell-shaped pond as well! only ours had 2 goldfish and these wild guppies that died.... =( i must say you did a much greater job than me. yours is beautiful! seeing all those little bettas swimming around the place =)
