how did you get the eggs? I have never kept killies but I thought the eggs came in peat. Are these are eggs from your own killies? Or are there other ways of obtaining the eggs?

what is the aeration rate?

I take them from my fish about every 3 to 4 days. They spawn on a spawning mat i have made from wool. 3 females 2 males i get about 20+ eggs each time. They have also spawned in the gravel as i have about 6 fry about 1 month old by the look of them. I use slight aeration so the eggs dont move.At this time of year it takes about 14 days for them to hatch. In the summer it takes about 8 to 9 days.
