Here's the father and one of his kids from the first generation of eggs, having a meal together:

You can see a blurry shot of a bristlenose fry from the second generation of eggs in the lower right hand corner.

Congrats! Whatever you're doing, you're doing it right. You must have some happy fish :)

I'm not so sure, I lost a few of my bettas over the past few months, I don't know why they're getting sick when all the other fish are thriving.

1. Saw some cory eggs in the tank this week. They're gone, not sure if they survived but obviously somebody's been laying more eggs.

2. It's becoming clear the bristlenose couple have had three generations of fry because I can see more small ones swimming around.

3. The little panda baby I saw earlier in the week is still around but very elusive. It's the little dark thing on the gravel towards the right of the photo, with a larger pepper cory to the top left:
