And mouse, they are catfish that lay their eggs the same time a cichlid does, that way the female cichlid will pick them up the same time as her own eggs and raises them in her mouth. In most cases the baby cichlids will become catfish food in the mothers mouth . They have got their name after the infamous Cuckoo bird.
