fuzzy_dragonfly
Took him a while but he did flare for a short time. One of the pics maked him look more green then he really is. He's a very laid back fish, I know his not a super spectacular multicoloured wonder fish but it is quite soothing to watch him swim, short finned bettas have a charm of their own . Bren MacFish
I've noticed that bettas with pale piebald faces seem to have more charm. It may have something to do with the facial recognition instinct in humans?
fuzzy_dragonfly
Yeah he's Paul's fish, Paul does all the maintenence, feeding and water changes, I just enjoy him . When I first saw him I was like Phil, he looked like a weird brown blob in a leggos sauce jar. Guess he just looked crappy because he doesn't like being confined in small spaces like that. He's definately perked up alot. Sometimes it pays to feel sorry for a LFS betta .

Figure_8
with the white patch emphasising his lips and the name Mr Gas I keep thinking of The Rolling Stones and Mick Jagger He's definitely a different little fellow :P

fuzzy_dragonfly
he certainly has changed for the better Klara <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well that's thanks to Paul, I just took the pics . I would have overlooked this fish, in the shop he looked plain wierd, like a long brown blob. Paul was the one that spotted Spash the 'premium' VT too and Simba the steel crossray. He has an eye for fish, maybe he'll end up a future betta judge .
Chuckie
He did look like a poo in the shop. I was surprised he was called Mr Gas and not Mr Hankey. I love his white mouth!
