Betta_Di
Well firstly, the larger of my 2 remaining Black Orchid plakat fry (complete with hydra on the glass) I think it is a 'he' and currently tis about 1cm long in the body ... From an early morning raid at Eddies ..... one of my Gold CT gals ... and the most amazingly colured denim freckled gal (the colour he couldn't describe) ..... From a late afternoon raid at Lilly's on the same day ..... One of my copper 'females' ... who is nearing HM and has lovely straight edges (sorry bout the bottle) ... and a matching copper gal .... A gorgeous, and large, turquoise boy - a roundtail? '> And lastly, for now, an intriuging Copper MG VT (?) '> Feel free to correct the naming of any colours or tail types or sexes I may have gotten wrong :)
Phil
Its amazing to think that the vt like one came from 2 HM parents. They were silky mg, which to me is black copper mustard :)
Callatya
Oh, i think i have some of that VTs siblings! If so, the photos don't seem to do them justice, they are such uniquely coloured little fish I LOVE the CT from Edie I almost tried absconding with the entire crate of them! Chuckie
yes, the VT is the brother of the 'silky MG' you have Abbey. Which is what leads me to suspect that they may throw plakats (VT being the long tail form of plakat, right?).
Phil
as far as i know, VT is the longfin form of a traditional plakat, HM plakats have HM longfin siblings.
edie
I don't think that's a vt at all though, IMHO... It's just an SD that has collapsed tail either being bent or totally collapse the upper caudal. I had gorgeous HM that became like that before, he was moody...One day HM in the tank, moved to barrack and totally collapsed his tail and turned to VT By the look at the volume of his caudal, it's pretty big and rounded to be considered a VT
