Phil
Nice!! I can see where they get their name from. Do these ones get red in them aswell? or is that a different variant?

Stuart Elflett
It's a double red, but it's been cross bred with a yellow, I believe... hence the orange... mind you, I'll tell you more in a couple of weeks of feeding it 'properly' - it could still colour up significantly... Bettarazzi
Hmmm... seriously considering evicting my dwarf bettas in favour of some dwarf cichlids. How small a tank can you keep them in?
Chuckie
Gorgeous! I have a double red pair of cac's. Love them!
Stuart Elflett
More room than a Betta *can* live in, but I have two blue rams in a 20L, and they certainly seem happy enough - this guy is in the 140L community, and is getting along with everyone else - they're not as aggressive as bigger cichlids... they are sensitive to water quality, and chemicals, so cycle the tank well first... Stuart Elflett
Gorgeous male Where did you get them from? Amazon Aquariums, on Research Road, next building to Aggies... I think there's one male left, and a few females...
Jess
Ahh, I saw some there about 4 weeks ago. Did you have any luck finding any females? I think the last few batches from wholesalers have been males. If you want females I can keep an eye for you.
Stuart Elflett
Not yet, no - I'm concentrating on the Blue Rams at the moment... a couple of months ago I didn't even want cichlids... lol
