bluebetta
My apple snail in my tank has algae (well I think it is) growing on him. What should I do to get rid of the algae or is it ok?
shooshoo
i'm not much use here but i still had a funny thought. (insert algea's thought process here) HA! thats what you get for eating me! oh i'm so easily amused
Callatya
Its fine If its just the green or brown colour over his shell, that shouldn't bother him much at all. Wosrt case scenario he might get a few ambitious fish nipping at his shell :D

shooshoo
i had those cute 'mystery snails' manically procreating in my spawn tank, they starting taking over! Now i just have 6, i think, sharing individual tanks with my betta boys. Might pop them in together again for a while and get some more to clean up some other tanks, darn bristlenose not doing their jobs :D
Beano
I don't know what kind of snails are what. I call the ones with trumpet shells "creek snails" and the other ones just snails. I only know apple snails and that's because they grow huge. Has anyone seen apple snails in LFS around Brisbane? I only ever find the regular sized ones. Beano
Yeah, I should go and look there on the weekend. I've only been there once in the last 5 years and it was to pick up Bling and his girl after their quarantine was over!
