Phil
This is one i got from lisa when she sold off all her fish, this has gotta be my favorite fish at the moment. I am hoping to breed her with my Monster Plakat male, but the problem is, she flares at him, and he swims away, Where is the aggressive love? splendidbetta
She's a very purty girl! What are her parents?
Phil
Ive no idea Stefan, she was one of a pair that lisa imported. The purple copper is very nice, its not that purple you get to see sometimes on coppers, its actually purple all the time which is cool
Chuckie
These are a beautiful pair of plakats, I had such big hopes for them. Now they are in the capable hands of Mr Phil so I am hoping we will see great things!
splendidbetta
She really is nice... It's interesting how copper can look purple, green, or both. I wonder if C and CG are genetically the same or not. I actually prefer CG though, coz it can look green lol

Robbies Betta
is he Dragon instead of monster? I always thought a monster had scales that looked to be sort of blended together :eadshake: or is he an Armadillo?
Phil
Who knows robbie! :eadshake: I think he is dragon. I remember talking to edie once and he told me monsters had to be marbled or something.
Chuckie
aren't mosnters the ones with a thick mask? Hey what would I know, LOL!
Robbies Betta
both you guys have said what I was trying to say. I've always thought monsters had that marbly, really thick, metallic irrid on them, rather than the singular metallic scale thing dragons have :eadshake:
splendidbetta
monsters and dragons and regular metallic are all metallics, just the metallic is expressed different. If you look at red/gold dragons, you can see that they kinda have the same basic scaling patterning (color bodered by darker/different color) as imbellis and other wild types. :eadshake: food for thought. They might not be that different after all.
Leela
Ooh gosh, she is gorgeous!! Chuckie
Cool! Phil has a perfect mate for her too - can we have a photo of the copper pk boy, Phil?
Phil
I dont think they would suit too well finnage wise Olivia, she is a plakat, but i think i have seen the pic of your male, great match colourwise though! Lisa the male plakat isnt really up for photos, he is a sulker at the moment. This is one i took a while ago, but it dosent show his fins off very well.
