Phil
Hey, I was on an excursion with TAFE today and one of our stops was a bonsai nursery. Some of the bonsai's at the nursery were amazing - a few were over 100 years old! Anyhow, there was a MASSIVE aquarium with a divider and these 2 fish, one gold and one silver - there was a sign 'No pics in nursery' so i had to be quick with my phone - so they arent that good! These 2 fish were about 50+cm each!
Leela
Wow, what lovely fish! I see these in the LFS and am totally in love with their body shape! But they have them listed as 'Saratoga Jardini'. Is it the same species?
VickiPS
They could be Scleropages jardinii and leichhardti respectively (both native to Australia).
Chuckie
the top one looks like a saratoga, not an arowana. quick camera work, Mr Phil!

Mango4Jade
Yep. Both are saratogas...native aussie fish IMHO, they still are quite nice :)

fuzzy_dragonfly
I haven't seen a gold one before, it's nice . I always get mixed up when it comes to arowanas, jardinis etc. They look so similar.
