Phil
Yep in that area. Just the local ones. There is a great selection of healthy plants in the pet shop at Richmond Market place, really healthy and a huge variety! I got a bunch of red rotala today
Phil
I dont get this, of the 3 planted tanks, 2 are going well and one has completely died for no apparent reason. You can see the one on the right with the dragon fry in it, all healthy and even has algae growing on the sand, yet the other tank is just dead. Lucky i noticed and took out the fish (i had smaller tanks floating in the front of it so didnt notice the plants) but yeah, very strange!
PeterJ
Wow - huge contrast between the two tanks. Are there any poblems with the fish you pulled or was it just the plants?
Phil
Fish were fine! Just floating them in the bigger planted tank so i can clean out the dead one.
Jess
Hmmm, What about temp issues?
Chuckie
looks like what happened in one of tanks once when I had a pH crash. Weird, it appears that you have elodea in both tanks and that both get the same amount of light.
PeterJ
Killing elodea without killing the fish is pretty impressive. I'd have thought elodia's lethal limits for tempertaure and pH whould be better than a Betta at both ends.
Phil
There is no elodia in there. It was hygro and another plant.

Phil
Come on, off the drugs lisa! The melafix is for the fish, not you. Just because it is natural dosent mean its ok! These are the plants in the tank, pre-death:
