dracon
hi all ive had my BN breed yay and as this is a first i have a question for you all how common is it to get albino BN in a spawn of brown parents i got them from a LPS so i have no back ground info on them i have pic for you that i will post when i can
Robbies Betta
it's not very common if they are your average common BN, but if they were bought from the same LFS at the same time, they could be from the same spawn of a Common BN x Albino BN and hence why you may get some Albinos. good luck with these guys :(
AquamaN
Yes the only way you could get an albino is if the parrents are from a cross breed strain as mentioned above. This fish might also colour up as it matures and turn out not to be an albino but just a light coloured standard. Either way still good news
dracon
ok here are the pics i promised the were all got from the same shop at the same time and out of this spwan 1\3 are white and all are growing nicely
fishbites
That male looks like he's definitely an albino x common bn so no surprises with you getting a portion of each colour in the fry. Looks like you're getting a really decent sized clutch of eggs from them too!
Anasfire
Dracon, did the female lay just out in the open on the gravel?
dracon
no they had them in a tube stock pot, i didnt know they had spawned untill after i had pulled the tank down was just about to empty the water out of the tank when i found them so the male, plants and pot all went back in. after that the male kept moveing them around the tank he put them back in the pot the night they hatched

Robbies Betta
OMG thos egss are disturbing I love seeing baby BN though. especially when you have heaps of them all over the tank. it's like an invasion. I love how they almost immediately look like miniatures of the parents
