Luke k
Hi Guys, I thought I would show you one of my new set ups. It was custom built to my specs. 1200mm long x 300mm deep x 450mm high. Filtration is done by an aqua one hang on filter plus corner filters in each section (powered by an air pump). The tank has mesh inserts in the centre of each divider to allow for water flow to the whole tank. Hope you like. Regards, Luke

najrick
Very nice mate. With those dimensions that's about 150 litres. Divided into 4 you could have a spawn in each section Pat.
Joepmaster
hi Luke, Very nice set-up! Well done. I'm sure your fish are gonna like this new housing. Many greetings from the Netherlands, Joep
Luke k
Do you think so Pat? I thought that the males would get distracted if they had other pairs trying it on next door...
najrick
Well I meant that with the size of the tank and the 4 divisions it could happen. The dividers would probably have to be closed off to stop fry escaping and not visible, the filtration stopped and the gravel removed. But it could be possible I think it is a great tank. Are the dividers removable? Pat.
Luke k
The dividers are fixed but the mesh is removable.

Chuckie
It makes a great display tank! Only thing is the plastic plants can tear males' fins, so perhaps consider using silk or even real plants instead. Having said that, plenty of ppl keep their males with plastic plants with no trouble, so it may never be a problem.
