Najoha
Had some java moss growing beautifully in my girly tank and wanted some of those floating balls just to add something different. I was shocked at the price in the Lfs. It was the holidays and I had nothing better to do (well more interesting... there is always mum stuff, lol) So another lfs donated some old blue bio balls, (had wanted black or green but they were free). I attached some thick fishing line to the convenient hole through the middle and tied this around a nice stone. I then weaved the java moss in around the bio ball, dropped it in the tank and this is the girls checking it out! I will take some more pics as things progress. Looking great after about 6weeks now. Jess
What a great idea! I have a few bio balls laying around. What was the price of a bio ball? I get them for 20c each here, I can send you some if you want.
Najoha
The java moss ball was $14 at the lfs. I got my bio balls for free (have heaps now, the lfs was going to throw them out), but I think you can buy them buy the 50.
