Ned Posted May 29, 2007 Report Share Posted May 29, 2007 nope, never used one, i was looking into it though, is the one your talking about the thin black one? i remember reading about it and i dont think it had a temperature control, i personally wouldnt trust something like that with my fish. Bettarazzi Posted May 29, 2007 Report Share Posted May 29, 2007 I had a look at it at the LFS. It doesn't have temperature control. It just heats the water a few degrees higher than room temperature. Not sure what the point of that is. What if the temperature dropped to 10 degrees? It's only going to be 14 deg in there? My LFS wasn't recommending it and regretted getting them in.
