Xsilver368 Posted August 18, 2012 Report Share Posted August 18, 2012 Hi there, I have two male gourami's that are living with 5 endlers, 5 rummy nose tetra and two upside down catfish in a 95L semi-planted tank. In the last 2 weeks I have noticed they are flaring? at each other and have a few scales missing? I'm wondering if i should seperate them or if I added another 1-2 would that help? BettaBeginner Posted August 19, 2012 Report Share Posted August 19, 2012 I don't know about the dwarf Gourami but I was speaking to a person that breeds the hatchback Gourami and he told me he wouldn't have anything less than 5 together. les Posted August 19, 2012 Report Share Posted August 19, 2012 Ill endorse what riff said and add more cover as that will lesson the stress, if you cant add more plants then try driftwood it just makes it harder to swim in a staight line and attack another fish. Yanagi Posted August 20, 2012 Report Share Posted August 20, 2012 Always do trios+ of Gouramis if you aren't getting a breeding pair or aren't sure of gender.
