Callatya
I noticed today that there is a new Strictly Aquariums open on 3rd Ave in Blacktown. I didn't see it in time to turn in and have a look, but I wondered if anyone else had been out that way and seen it and if it was worth a visit What are the other Strictly's like? What do they specialise in? [i did go to Blacktown Pet and Produce, and their tank condition is getting better. Bettas are still ordinary (CT & VT) but they are in good nick. I didn't get anything, but I thought I should mention that they had some of the best LF leopard danios that I have seen, with full LF pectorals and stocky bodies to support all the finnage. I don't know who their suppler is, but if you are after them, keep an eye out as this batch seems to be really cool. ]
Chuckie
other Strictlys specialise in typical community fish, with the occasional odd-bod thrown in. You have your goldfish of course, your VTs, sometimes some awesome plakats, kuhliis, columbian tetras, blue diamond discus, sometimes some panchax, a range of danios, a range of barbs, angels, a range of tetras, glassfish, peppered cories, clown loaches and mollies. Basically, the sort of fish that new fish keepers buy 1 of everything of and overstock their uncycled tank and kill everything. Like we all did! Oh, and marines - but I have no idea what they are called.
Callatya
OK, so mainly easy peasy trops cool I might see what they have in the way of things for my 4' thingy. Jerry is getting itchy to do marine, so maybe that'd be cool too OK, wonderful ta Lilli ;)
Phil
And Strictly aquariums, atleast the one in Yagoona lets you catch the fish yourself! Some of their prices are great, i think last time i was at the Yagoona one their glass cats were like $3.50, have a hard time getting them for less than $10 in Penrith
