Tara
Hi I was wondering if anybody has Glass Shrimp and if they were suitable to have with female Betta's? I would like to use them as a clean up crew for my female tank for something different.
Daniel
i had some at one time with a male betta, and he hunted them down quite well, its possible its down the the temperament of the betta, as long as you provide adequate hiding space i dont see a problem. Did you want glass shrimp for any particular reason? there are other types avaliable, more colourful ones, as well as more interesting varieties, Have a look at the Aquagreen website
jusdeb
I agree check out Aquagreen for some great native shrimp that will add colour to your tank and do just as good a job at claening up algae too. I never really got the whole glass shrimp thing , if somethings going in to my tank and adding to my bioload I at least want to be able to see it. Just my opinion .
