Beano
I know goldfish are coldwater and bettas are tropical, but can I put my 4 baby plakat giant females in with my 2 goldfish? I want the girls in something bigger and I can't swap their tanks because the betta tank will be too small for the goldfish.

Callatya
Temperature-wise you should be OK if you bump the tank to temperate/tropical (are they comets or fancies?) but be very careful because goldfish are basically arrogant thugs if there is food involved, and somewhat unaware of their size at the best of times. Watch that the fry aren't being pushed around and that they get enough to eat. Try feeding the goldfish first and up one end and the bettas down the other, or one on sinking and one on floating, or even create a 'feeding chamber for the bettas that the goldfish can't get into. How large are the goldies?
Beano
one is 4 inches and one 3 (including tails). They are just regular goldfish (not fancy). I put the java moss in there as well and the goldfish were right onto it...
