Tara
Hi I was just reading an article on Betta colouring and it said that around 6-7 months of age the colouring will just be starting to be evident on both male and female. It should intensify with maturity and during the breeding process, now I know that colour does intensify during breeding but can anyone tell me if they agree with the age for colouring. As Im making up a flyer to sell my DT's and I'm just trying to work out what to put on it. Thanks Tara
Bettarazzi
6-7 months seems to be old for the colour to just start to be evident. IME the fish start to colour up from 1 to 2 months of age depending on what colour they are. The iridescent colours seem to show up earlier, red seems to come later. Sara_01
dragons take a long time to colour up, well longer than the other colours, my copper dragon spawn took forever to change from ugly brown fish lol. reds also take a long time to stabilise and marbles never stop changing, but 6-7 months? nah not that long
