Beano
Remember this guy? Look at him now! He's darkened and some of the marbling is nearly black. His face is become coloured as well, does this mean he's not a monster anymore? He's still one of my top favourite bettas, just gorgeous. I'm waiting for one of my new giant females (the pale one) to grow a bit so I can cross him into some giant genes...
splendidbetta
Wow, really nice colour What colour and fin-type giant female is it?
Beano
The female is a giant plakat. I don't know what colour, but she's pale bodied, pale finned, and has this yellow-green irridescence to her. She's only 9 weeks old though, so she might change a bit. It's one of the ones Michael sent me. I'll get a photo... ***EDIT - here's a photo of her:

Beano
Well... he is super aggressive... the girl has jumped out of her chimney twice now. He has no nest, and no interest in making one, just likes stalking whatever is in HIS tank. Over the last day though, he has become a bit more easy on her, less bite, more "look at me dance". Things did get a bit better after I put the snail in there too, and i can see them through the algified walls again!
