When buying Giants - How do you tell the difference between a young giant and a big old normal HMPK?

he really does look in great condition phil

and betta, giants are stockier than a normal betta - even at the same length the giant will weigh a lot more as their body is wider once you've seen a giant IRL it's impossible not to be able to tell them apart!
