Betta_Endeavours
I know one of the HM's that someone brought back for me chewed his fins and she trimmed them. Apparently between her place and mine the lovely DT had chewed/torn his fins and it I couldn't tell for a couple of days. I've been meaning to call someone about it but figure I'll post here first. Do I need to trim his fins if he's chewed them and how the heck do I do that? I get worried just at the thought of it. Thanks
Callatya
Don't stress. No trimming required :eadshake: Just keep his water clean and maybe add some IAL if you are worried. The edges should look slightly clear as they grow back. At the moment, they pobably just look freshly munched, and that is fine too. Red, black, bright white, or melted-looking edges are not good and will need further attention.
Ned
maybe a course of malafix would help with the growing back. i dunno how to stop him actually chewing his fins though.
y2jdaze
agree, TLC and some nice clean water... keep an eye on it to make sure he doesn't develop finrot or something evil. just add some melafix and wait for it to grow back.
