Celeste84
i just added my smallest girl into the community tank, very funny to watch as she picks on her own mother who at 7-8cm is three times as long as her! so cute :)

Celeste84
i add the young girls into the tank at an inch long, i find the adults accept younger fish better, but you don't want to risk them being small enough to make a good snack :)
BabyDragonz
yeah ^^ i only hav one adult girl and she is quite small she's about 3.5 cm long (not counting her tail) the baby fish are around 2 - 2.5 cm long (not counting the tail) so probably not a good match? Celeste84
perfect actually IMO, they're small enough to add to the tank and let the big girl get used to them - they'll establish a pecking order as they grow up without having fins torn apart left right and center (1 inch = 2.5cm)

VickiPS
I'm ashamed to say I have two tanks of "bonsai bettas", that have not thrived as they should because of my lack of attention They are very cute, but somewhat delayed in their maturation and psycho-social development as well because they've never been jarred. One of them has found a new home in our office fish tank. I'm told he got quite excited when 5 new tank buddies were introduced (harlequin rasboras) and put on a fine display of flaring and posing until he realised they weren't interested
