Callatya
I had 3 at one stage, and they never worked. I got very confused at one point because I knew a tank was cycling (fishless, AquaPlus, gravel seeded), and it was still yellow, so i took the devices and tried them in water with varying amounts of ammonia present (bottled stuff) and it took a helluva lot for them to trigger. Its possible I got a bad batch, but geez it scared me! I know people who have had a lot of success with them, but I just wouldn't feel comfy relying on them as my only measuring device. Good to have, but definaltely don't let yourself become too comfy like I did. I've heard they don't pick up ammonium too, but thats probably not a big deal :(
Figure_8
I had a couple a while back, but with the same sort of results as Abbey. I thought they would be a good early warning system for fry tanks.
