shadoh
I've been given a 20L tank that I was planning on using for a breeding tank. I picked it up today and the bottom is mirrored My question is; will this stress out my pair? Should I find a way to cover it up? If so, with what? Thanks, Jarrod
fishbites
you could try a very very thin layer of fine sand perhaps.... or get some silicone and use it to glue in a piece of heavy duty black plastic over the base.... if you don't want to use silicone just cut a piece of dark plastic the size of your tank base and put a clear sheet of glass over that.... hobbygodz
Hello Shadoh,I assume the "pair" you speak of are fighters? I can tell you that a male betta will go beserk in a mirrored tank - and even more so in the company of a female. Substrate would be a hassle in a breeding tank so I can't think of an easy way to cover the mirror. Mabye another forum member will chime in with a way around this. Seeya, Brad.
