bluegrass guppies girls

I have moved across the state of Victoria, I drove my fish in the car(over 6 hours) with the 3 dog and about 15 mice, Oh and the Cherry shrimp.

We all made it safe and sound and had all started to settle in nicely,

WHEN I WOKE UP TO FIND THE HEATER WAS TURNED OFF

My Dad in his hart of harts was trying to help me set up something, that I didn't give a toss about anyway.

He had unpluged the heater :)

My Bluegrass boys and some of the girls died aswell as a nice home breed white Dragon female :)

So now I would like to find 2 boys to start with must be true breeding as my original stock came from someone.

Jo, if you were keeping the girls and the boys together, there is a possibility that there will be more births over the coming months. Female guppies can store sperm for months at a time and then drop babies. You might not need new males.

Hi Paul that is what I am hopping for,

its been 3 1/2 weeks and no one has popped yet.

I keep looking around the tank with a magnifying glass, just in case

I am keeping my fingers crossed

  • 2 weeks later...

cheer.gifI found a boycheer.gif just one, but there's hope yet.

On the down side he is not the best in the finnage,

some of the girls have out stripped him.

I have in the past got some shorter finned,

that I have always moved on to friends

Its much better than having no male and I do know his line59.gif
