fishbites
Any type of plastic the fish can't see through and that is clean and free from any chemicals should be fine - blue, yellow, white... icecream lids, file covers, perspex.... icecream lids are food safe and as long as they are rinsed after washing them to remove detergents .... doesn't matter unless you want to colour co-ordinate them or have them in a display situation... :P

fishbites
LOL.... sounds like they are very healthy and happy then... Just keep an eye on them... bettas have been known to sulk if kept in isolation... they are pretty inquisitive little fish and like to see things happening outside their water world .... Anasfire
As a rule of thumb I'd stay away from anything that gives off 'plasticy' smell. This usually means it'll also leech, whatever it is they leech, into the water.
