Bender
I've been checking out heaps of stuff on GuppyWiki and came accross this article on building a wooden (yes you read right, made out of wood) betta grow out tank. http://guppywiki.guppies.com/index.php/Building_Wooden_Tanks Then I found the youTube video of the design. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7pSjCa9J5GU...feature=channel It's not for everyone, but thought the ideas may come in handy for someone. fishbites
I saw an article online about a plywood tank once before ... nothing like this one for bettas... it was almost half a room in size with bracing and a huge glass viewing window. The wood would be so much easier to work with than glass but having it 3/4" thick would make it a lot heavier and cumbersome but as the guy said... some of the pieces he's made can be quite nice furniture items.... I would like have to have a go at it one day and see if I can make a coffee table or something useful...
