Stuart Elflett
Thanks Deb... You guys will appreciate one of my birthday presents... a metallic blue/purple female betta - she's fitting in quite happily in the 2' community tank in the living room, has a real personality (yeah, I know, no surprise to you lot... lol) she's just been inquisitively exploring all over, finding her places and generally enjoying the space and plants, I think... Stuart Elflett
Yeah, I have Bettarazzi... busy at work, and moved to a new house... things have settled down a little so there's more time to drop into the forums again though... :balloons:

Bettarazzi
Welcome back. Now you just need a nice betta boy to go with that nice betta girl. :D
Stuart Elflett
I'm kind of thinking that, Bettarazzi, but I'm not sure how a boy would go in the community...
Bettarazzi
I know someone that keeps a male and female in a heavily planted community tank. I haven't actually seen it nor tried it myself. But apparently the female occasionally comes out to do a bit of a courting dance with the male, then retreats. It's not generally the done thing but I'm planning on trying it one day. Perhaps not with my most expensive halfmoons. :D
