stubbskm
I came across the goo-obo gudgeon or allomogurnda nesolepis on aquabid. They are from PNG. Does anyone know anything about these little fish? Are they in Australia?
Callatya
I have absolutely no idea, and by the resounding silence, I'd guess I'm not the only one! I did a quick google, and there doesn't seem to be any reference to them being in Australia. I'm sure that someone will have them, legal or not, but according to trusty old google nobody is bragging or breeding ^_^
stubbskm
I have had no luck either. They are not on the import list or on the PNG and Aus. Rainbow and Natives websites. The closest I can get is the peacock gudgeon. Well it was worth a try.
Odbalz
I've come accross references to the Goo-obo gudgeon before but never about being in Australia. I've had the peacock gudgeon before and from what I can tell they seem to be very similar in needs and looks to each other. Although the Goo-obo gets bigger then the Peacock gudgeon. If you were thinking of getting the Goo-obos maybe you want to try the Peacocks instead. They are neat little fish and bred really easily for me, though the fry are quite small.
