stubbskm
Below is 1 of 3 males that came from a turq mother and father. The pics don't show the metallic blue sheen they have very well. I also have several girls the same colour.
Chuckie
Just looking at it, I would call it pastel or platinum. Did he start out that colour or was he blue then the colour faded to this? I so, I'd say he is a turquoise marble.
Bren MacFish
I concur. :)
Chuckie
LOL! I once knew a law professor who wore a shirt that said that. It was apparently the standard judgment delivered in constitutional law cases by a particular High Court judge for many years back around the 40's. Bren MacFish
Yes, it's what you say when someone more experienced says something impressive and you want in on their limelight. :D
Figure_8
LOL!! In answer to the colour question .. I would have said pastel BUT should you manage to keep the colour & line going then you as the breeder can call it whatever you darn well please Frosted Platinums to take into account the metallic sheen maybe? :D
stubbskm
They never faded or changed colour at all. I also have some from the same spawn that are the same colour as the parents. Can they be called pastels when they have a metallic sheen? Are pastels defined by having a whitish coating over them?

Figure_8
I have seen fish labelled as metallic pastels before.. not sure if that is an official classification or just a breeders label though.
