Zayda88
Hi, I have a 4ft aquarium but a 3ft LED light. I have been looking around at lights and have decided that I would love to have a light with a separate switch to just have blue on in the evenings. I think my Clown Loaches may enjoy this dimmer light as well. I have a planted tank. Does anyone have any suggestions on which brand is the best or which brand they found to be bad for plants etc? Brenton
I got one from here, and will be looking to get more I think. You need to get an adaptor to be able to plug it into our electrical sockets, but for the price, they are a steal...just takes a long time to get here... http://www.dx.com/s/aquarium+led
lodo
Quick tip, most lights with blue lights are designed for marine so the Kelvin rating is much higher than you would generally have if you were growing plants. If no plants, to my knowledge it won't make much difference. We aim got 800k to 10000k for all our tanks, and on for 8 hours a day with an hour break in the middle
