LoveBettas
Hi, I have a community tank with Guppies and Female Bettas. In the last week I have lost 3 guppies and 1 betta, the PH is 7.8. I have an IAL in the water and not sure what else to do! I`m goin to add aquarium salt and see if that helps. Any other sugestions?
lodo
To get the ph down to roughly 6.8-7 I would do a 250-50% change and make up an ial tea and pour that in.
swordsy
Is it a new tank?
Brenton
Jenny - does you kit test for Ammonia and Nitrites? If everything looks ok, but you're suddenly losing fish, it could be an ammonia spike. Jame's suggestion would be the immediate fix for that. If you don't have a test kit that does those tests...you need to get one
