Bethbot
Came across the NoClean Aquarium betta tanks today. http://www.nocleanaquariums.com/default.asp While I would never keep a betta long term in these, they would be fantastic for jarring! Doing a water change and siphon by simply pouring in new water. I think the price is way too high, but it's a clever idea :)
FlamyHeavens
Yeah I saw them too, you should've seen the amount of $$$ the company raked in during their Kickstarter campaign. It's self clean gimmick is cool, I since I haven't actually owned one I'm still skeptical I totally agree on the price $75 dollars USD not to mention the postage and handling fees is way too much for a glass jar with a "Self Clean" Gimmick, I would've considered had they included the LED lights for it too. I would defintitly buy it had it were cheaper, although many people are against "Bettas in cups" when people keep them. Also since it's so small a heater would'nt fit inside and I don;t think I'm willing for a poor betta to break in itch etc so I guess a Mat heater for the Jar would definitely be a must. Overall I would've bought this had it been cheaper :I
stew822
That's an awesome idea. It would be pretty easy to make them yourself, you'd just need some pipe, an L-bend and a diamond drill bit. It wouldn't be as pretty though.
forever_and_a_day
Very interesting siphon, but the waste in that video is dramatically intensified - I don't think a single male could produce that much even in a week! XD
