fishbites
I like the colour of the black CT but he seems to have a lot of bent/curled rays.... on the caudal fin it appears he has inconsistent spacing between the rays but that could be the angle.... should make a very nice pet.... The multi has a lot of webbing reduction - should be at least 1/3 reduction but that much seems to make the extensions look flimsy, a few curled looking rays in the anal fin.... looks like a nice solid base to the dorsal fin.... the ray extensions don't seem to be able to hold up when flaring but he would make a nice pet too I think.... Seems they both have the right amount of agro when they see each other! :)
jha
Thanks guys. Also when the term 'webbing' is applied what is it refering to on the fish if you don't mind me asking? Another pic: cheers
Sarah
They're nice, Jha. Can't really add to Wayne's post there. Webbing is the bit between the rays on their finnage that makes the part of the tail 'one piece' - rather than a multitude of rays. Think of a duck's feet... there are like toes, but webby bits in between them, to make it one foot... rather than claw/toes. So up to the bit where the rays go all spiky... Hope that makes sense, it did in my head haha.
