delyall Posted June 4, 2010 Report Share Posted June 4, 2010 Lolz, google is awesome, helped me answer this in about 2 minutes 'big ears' refers to large pectoral fins (as seen here - http://www.aquabid.com/cgi-bin/auction/clo...tashm1273740591 ) monster either refers to the size of the betta (half giant or giant betta) or the colouration, monster bettas have white faces, like dragon bettas, but the white is mainly only on the face... bettasbest Posted June 9, 2010 Report Share Posted June 9, 2010 Hi Bec As delyall said the big ears are the large pectoral fins which can look really cool ive seen a few with like a white butterfly pattern on them which looks unique/quitepretty to me(and dont worry i had to look at a bunch of auctions on aquabid before i figured that out!).
