Shannonbjs Posted June 2, 2010 Report Share Posted June 2, 2010 does anyone keep their bettas on a sand substrate - im looking at using propergating sand so texture of shell grit to try it but would eventually like to try white play sand so quite fine.... how do you go keeping ph steady ? girlz0r Posted June 2, 2010 Report Share Posted June 2, 2010 i do, i just used builders sand.. it was left over from when the hosue was built, and had been buried in the ground for a while with grass and stuff growing in it.. The other sand I use it just pure sand, the clenest sand i've ever seen haha, i think it's almost glass it's so clean Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
