Ideally I want a model which will maintain temperature in the narrowest possible band, e.g. 0.5C or less. Cheap too, of course! What are my best bets? hobbygodz Posted August 14, 2009 Report Share Posted August 14, 2009 Hi Finley, For what it's worth, Jager heaters are (IMO) the best heaters on the market, and have been for a long time. Temp control is spot-on provided you use the correct size heater for your application. Jager's also have a very long service life, and they are tough, being made from schott-duran lab grade glass. Iv'e never had one pack it in or break in spite of somewhat less than gentle treatment. They are not cheap, but you will find that they are the best value.
