koriana Posted March 4, 2009 Report Share Posted March 4, 2009 I had a brainwave which is always dangerous! We have some scraps of good clean aluminium . I was thinking I could use this is make dividers in my fish tank.. Using the poster holders (siliconed in) to hold the aluminium, which would stop water sharing, but enable me to remove the dividers to make the tanks bigger if i wanted. The other bonus is the mirror like finish on the metal would encourage flaring... What do you guys think? kylie Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Chuckie Posted March 4, 2009 Report Share Posted March 4, 2009 you don't want your fish flaring 24/7, firstly. I would rule it out solely because of the mirror finish. It might encourage flaring for a day, maybe even a week .. then never again, as the fish will be totally desensitized to the 'other' fish and won't flare any more. secondly, what happens to aluminium in water?
