Just wondering if this would be safe in a 2 foot tank to keep guppy fry separated? The thing Im worried about is where the divider runs parallel to the tank wall looks to me as though a fish could swim in too far and get stuck.

I like that it can be inserted and removed easily as I only want a temp. divider. OR If I make one using craft mesh and binder holders how do I keep it in place without using glue?

I can see why you would be worried about them getting stuck, not sure if they would but it is a possibility. If you use the binder/poster holders you could use suction cups either on the holders or on either side so the divider can be slipped though & held in place.

I'm no expert, but the mesh size looks a little large to me. When I bred guppies the fry were fairly small, I'd be worried about them getting stuck through the mesh as well as between the mesh and the glass.
