justin
what sort of foods can you feed brine shrimp?
Stuart Elflett
Very small amounts of 'green water' (put a lettuce leaf into some boiling water out of a kettle, leave it in the sun, give it a few days to go manky and the resultant green water is full of food for brine shrimp. Yeast works, too... very, very, very tiny pinches - if the water goes cloudy, stop feeding till the brine shrimp get on top of it... You can gut load brine shrimp with various foods, but it's rife with issues of killing them off prematurely because of uneaten food dropping the water quality, etc... justin
ok can you feed them 'Alpha premium golden pearls 50-100 microns'
Stuart Elflett
They seem to work best on flake and floating powdery stuff... I would think those 'pearls' are more a pellet??? Shrimp would probably do OK on them, but brine shrimp are more a level of 'development' below things like glass shrimp, etc...

Stuart Elflett
Yeah, I'd give it a try - as all the above, try a very small amount and wait to see how they go on it...
