panicFREAK
Ok so i have almost run out of the water conditioner i use for my aquariums and havent got any money to buy some more, however we have some stuff called pond prime and i have been told that i can use it for my aquariums aswell. It says on the bottle to use 30ml for each 2400L. So my question is how much should i use for my aquariums?
Chuckie
if it is 30ml for 2,400L then unless my maths is as bad as I suspect, the dosage is 10ml for 800L; 1ml for 80L; 0.5ml for 40L. How much water would you be wanting to dechlorinate at a time? I always use about 3x the recommended dose anyway do for a 10L bucket, I'd say use 0.5ml. Someone save us if my maths is wrong
panicFREAK
Well i've got an 80L tank, a 40L tank, a 12L tank, and 10x2L Jars. I just wasnt sure whether the pond one would be alot stronger then the normal aquarium one.
Bettarazzi
Regardless of whether you're filling a pond or aquarium, the water is still coming out of the tap. The concentration of chlorine and chloramine that is being treated is the same. Pond dechlorinators are often cheaper, that's about the only difference AFAIK.
