fishbites Posted July 23, 2010 Report Share Posted July 23, 2010 Aqua Nova are a cheaper priced filter but don't seem to have any local dealers here.... a lot use them because of price.... spare parts can be quite hard to find here.... not sure of their warranty.... For a canister filter, I prefer to have backup of someone who can supply spares if needed such as sealing rings, impellers, etc.... My LFS is an Aqua One dealer so I use their filters because I can get a spare any time I want one.... they also offer up to 3 years warranty.... I like the price, cheapskate that I am, but prefer something well known or at LEAST that comes recommended. I hadn't thought of the spare parts issue either.
