kingers
Hi all, I've got a new boy who has decided he only eats live food (loves live BW and fish though). My blackworm culture isn't doing so well in the heat (i think) and doesn't seem to be reproducing anymore. The juvies he's 'helping' me cull are apisto borelli "opal" strain and I'm almost out of deformed ones (they're a bit pricey for good specimens to become betta food lol). He won't take frozen/freeze dried bloodworms, blackworms BS, etc (just tastes one and spits it out).. Won't even look at pellets/flakes. His sister eats anything and everything she can fit into her mouth. Anyone have any ideas of something he might take? I'm going to have to starve him until he'll take freeze-dried BW, but I don't want to do that until he's settled in a bit after his travels. I think I'm going to have to stop giving live food to my new arrivals for the first couple of days too lol.
Chuckie
I expect when he gets hungry enough, he'll eat frozen bloodworm. Any chance you could source some mosquito wrigglers as an alternative to blackworms? Good luck!
