Betta_Endeavours
We have a reverse cycle air con in my shed to maintain temperature at a ideal range. Now we've had a few really hot days and we've been darn lucky that I haven't had all my fish cooked. We'd seen the air con was blowing warm air out and figured it was struggling with the heat. Nope they found that the fan in the compessor until isn't working. For now we're doing what we can to get the temp down again. I guess it's not suprising that it'd fail in the first big heatwave lol. y2jdaze
Put bottles of water in the freezer and then float them in the tanks, that will help! (either that or drop a few ice cubes in there every hour or so)
Betta_Endeavours
Running the small fan through the compressor did the trick. We had bottles in the deep freeze but by the time they were ready they weren't needed. Now just have to get the air con fully fixed and functional again :P
